New show: Art of the Print, Dot-Art Liverpool

Today I delivered a pile of stitched and collaged prints to my gallery Dot-Art, Queen Avenue, Liverpool, ready for the group show The Art of the Print which opens on Friday 6th October – but if you are reading this you are invited to the opening on Thursday 5th October 5 – 7 pm.  There’s just a slight problem with that as I’m actually supposed to be in Northhampton that evening so I’m going to have to leave my own party after an hour or so! Still, I hope to see some of you local readers there!

The need to dash doesn’t diminish my delight though in being featured in a non-textile group show with my stitched photo collages. All the ones in this show are especially made to show off the wonderful lettering around Liverpool. I am having such fun with this series!

Of course, if you think my work is pants, there is still reason to come as there are plenty of other artist to look at all interpreting the idea of a print in different ways. You can see the list of artists and details of the venue  in the official notice below.

But maybe I could sneak in one more image from the art the gallery has for sale before I show you that…. all works are available from the gallery in person or we can post unframed.
